Here we are!
We are home and somewhat settled in... We are also exhausted. Jet lag can really take its toll on you! Kidus is doing so well. He was pretty tired today, but has settled into what is turning out to be the longest nap I have ever seen him take. He is such a laid back, fun little guy! I know that in Amharic his name means "blessed one" but I have to tell you, we are the blessed ones!
I don't even know where to begin with the photos. I would like to go day by day and tell about our experiences and post the appropriate pictures for that day. That is my plan, but it may take me a couple days to get out of the jet lag fog. In the mean time, we wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes. There was more than one time that I was brought to tears reading all the wonderful comments from friends and family.
Here are some firsts I can share with you now:
First time meeting his cousins (this one is Adrian, who is 4 months old. Norris' have notoriously BIG babies!)...
First bath at home...
First time in his highchair...
First time in his bed...
Isn't he the sweetest thing?
Until next time!
