Family Photo

Our travel dates present a problem with our new church directory. The photographers will be at the church August 7th - 11th getting family photos for the directory, and of course, all of our family won't be there. So, since it is important that all FOUR members of our family be in the family photo, I was thinking maybe we should just give them this one to publish. :-)

Oh, and I thought maybe I would share a quick video of Kidus trying to crawl back in June. I am sure he is probably zipping all over the place now!

Deanna, your baby is ADORABLE. I haven't seen a picture of him before this, and not only do I see a picture, but a video to boot! Thanks for the good wishes for our yard sale!

He's soooo cute!!! :-) The girls keep asking me if they get to meet him when he comes home to Michigan, and I keep telling them we'll have to wait and see...:-)

Thanks for sharing the video! It's exciting to hear the sounds of the environment and people that your baby is hearing and to see him move and react. Very precious. Since I've only just submitted my dossier, your video has made it more 'real' for me as I wait for our referral.

Karen: Of course the girls will get to meet him!

Marissa: He does have a good beat. I think he is going to be able to dance like his daddy (his daddy dances very well) :-)

Was there a hint of sarcasm in the "Jamie can dance good" comment? I've never seen him bust a move.

Now that you are on the home stretch of this adoption business (or are you just beginning???) are you still holing up in your house? :+)

Marissa: No, James can actually dance really well. Even now that he is turning into an old guy :) (hopefully he doesn't read these comments! LOL)

As far as holing up in the house, yeah, I guess I am still doing that. We have like a month to go, but I am really enjoying sorting through his clothes, making packing lists, daydreaming, etc. Taylor gets back from band camp this evening so that will probably be the end of my "holing up in the house", she will want to do stuff. Darn kids! j/k :-)
