Never go to a doctor whose office plants have died. - Erma Bombeck

We had a really nice dinner with the McKinney family yesterday. As some of you may remember, their son Mikias and Seth go way back. Since they were itty-bitty babies they were in the same orphanage. And when they were linked to their families, they were moved to another orphanage, together. About a month ago, they were reunited with very little fan-fare. Each did their own thing, in the same general vicinity. This time was different. Seth could not keep his hands off of Mikias - hugging and kissing him from the moment they were together. Mikias, on the other hand, had just woke up and was not really sure what to think...

Mikias had a good time, too - once he was a little more awake. We have decided that since the boys' birthdays are so close together, we would get together at least once a year to celebrate. Of course, I hope we are able to get together more than that because the boys clearly enjoy each other's company - luckily the adults do, too :)

Very nice pics! I love that the boys will grow up having a friend with such a similar background - that is a desire I have for our son --- when we ever find him :)

It will be nice for you to have a picture of them together every year as they grow up.
